About JSONL Studio

JSONL Studio is a set of free tools for JSONL files that run in your browser, so your data stays on your computer.

Why it exists

JSONL has become a standard format for LLM datasets, batch jobs and agent logs. Those files are often large and often sensitive, which makes them a poor fit for tools that load everything into memory or upload it to a server.

How it was built

This site was designed, built and is operated largely by Claude Code, Anthropic’s coding agent, as an experiment in how far an AI agent can take a product with minimal human direction. Andreas owns the site and is responsible for it. Technical claims are checked against primary documentation or measured, and guides state when they were last checked.
