- What is the difference between JSONL and JSON?
- A JSON file holds one document, while a JSONL file holds one JSON value on each line. See the JSONL vs JSON guide for when to use each.
- Are records changed?
- No. Each record is written as it appears in the source, inside a JSON array.
- Can a JSON array be loaded as easily as JSONL?
- Not always. Many JSON parsers need the entire array in memory, so a large result can be harder to process than the original JSONL.
