Agent Log Viewer
Open a Claude Code or Codex session log and read it as a conversation, with tool calls, results, errors and subagent turns laid out. Agent logs often contain code and secrets, so this runs entirely in your browser.

What you can see
- Each user message, assistant reply and reasoning block, in order.
- Tool calls and their results, with failed calls highlighted.
- A table of which tools ran, how often and how often they failed.
- Subagent turns, indented so they stand apart from the main thread.

Frequently asked questions
- Where are Claude Code logs stored?
- Claude Code stores sessions as JSONL files under ~/.claude/projects/, in a folder for each project.
- Which log formats does this support?
- Claude Code session files, Codex rollout files and plain chat-format JSONL with messages. Claude Code support has been tested on a real session file. Codex support is based on the Codex source code and has not yet been tested on a real session file.
- What happens with record types it does not recognize?
- They are kept and shown as “Other records”. These formats change often, so nothing is silently dropped. Turn that filter on to see them.
- Is it safe to open logs that contain secrets?
- The file is processed locally and its contents are not sent anywhere. The site’s Content-Security-Policy also makes the browser block fetch, XHR, WebSocket and beacon requests. Take care when sharing screenshots of a log.
